The second product in the “irogami series” of homeware products, made of aluminum, folded like a piece of paper.
This chopstick rest have a gentle sheen and are shaped like folded irogami. It is slanted towards the centre to prevent chopsticks from rolling off, and can be used like a chopstick bag to protect the chopstick tips before eating. These chopstick rests are colored aluminum anodized and the body has a matt paper-like texture with a soft sheen.
アルミを紙のように折った生活雑貨「irogamiシリーズ」の第2弾。
色紙を折ったような形の優しい光沢感のある箸置きです。箸が転がり落ちないように中央に向かって斜めに作られており、食事前に箸先を守る箸袋のようにも使えます。
この箸置きはアルミにアルマイト加工を施し着色されており、本体はマットな紙のような質感と柔らかな光沢感があります。

The manufacturing industry in Tsubame City has a genealogy and footprint of manufacturing that began with the Japanese nails of Kanei (1624-) in the olden days. Over the years, we have created some of the best craftsmen in Japan, and handicraft craftsmen have established Tsubame products into world-class brands. Founded in Tsubame City in 1890. As a knife maker, we worked on the production of "files", which was the main industry of Tsubame city at that time. This is the beginning of "tsuboe". Today, we manufacture various metal blades that make use of that technology.
